Business Infrastructure & Operations
As one of the driving forces behind Aurora’s continued success, our Business Infrastructure & Operations (BIO) team mission is to provide innovative and streamlined processes, tools, and resources to the business. BIO is built up of three functions—Business Operations, Building and Facilities, and Personal/Executive Assistant Support. From implementing our new self-service travel booking platform, Navan, to supporting the move to our brand new Oxford HQ, the BIO team works to optimise the company’s efficiency, enhance productivity, and create a conducive working environment.
Resourcefulness, reliability, and adaptability are critical to BIO’s ongoing prosperity. The BIO team would be a great fit for approachable, fast thinkers who want to have an immediate impact on the day-to-day lives of our Auroreans, both locally and internationally.

Describe your key responsibilities.
As the head of Core operations in our Athens office, I oversee a wide range of tasks. These include management of building facilities, financial reporting to external parties, legal handlings, and representing People & Culture. I ensure a positive employee experience by maintaining up-to-date policies and executing payroll runs. Additionally, I organise team meetings, offsites, and bonding activities.
What is the highlight of your role?
The most rewarding part of my role is the connections I get to make with colleagues and new joiners. My role is incredibly varied, giving me many opportunities for learning and growth. Having oversight of all core processes inspires me to continuously expand my knowledge in new areas such as finance, legal, and human resources.
What's the best thing about your team?
The unwavering support, both vertically and horizontally, is the best thing about my team. Having a team-approach to the problem-solving process allows us to act efficiently and run processes smoothly.
Reflect on what you like most about working at Aurora.
I appreciate Aurora’s receptiveness to new ideas. Anything I bring to the table—improvements, proposals, or suggestions—I know it will be reviewed and considered. Having this freedom for creativity motivates me to think outside of the box, and this challenges me to push myself.

Progress—The company is constantly expanding and venturing into new markets, while each team member is also experiencing personal and professional growth. We're all propelled forward by Aurora's dynamic pace, adapting and evolving alongside the company; witnessing this collective growth is exciting!
