Our People & Culture team recruits, develops, and retains our talented Auroreans. While they do not work directly with clients, their goal is to help each Aurorean live by our company culture and values and provide an environment in which diversity is valued and appreciated. People & Culture is divided into sub-teams: Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Reward & Benefits, People & Culture Operations, and Talent Management. 

Anyone hoping to provide their fellow company team members with the most productive and enjoyable work environment would thrive in this team, valuing collaborative, empathetic, big-picture oriented multi-taskers. Members of the People & Culture team can expect to gain universal expertise in priority management, cultural awareness and sensitivity, coaching, and HR strategy development and execution.

Talent Acquisition Specialist, Singapore

Describe your key responsibilities.
I support the business in bringing in the best talent. This means I monitor all open roles in the region (Singapore, Tokyo, Sydney, and Melbourne), make sure candidates are moving along in the recruitment process, and provide the best experience to both the business and candidates.
 
What is the highlight of your role?
I love the fact that I work with so many different kinds of people and no two days are the same. I work in the Singapore office where we have colleagues of all ages, from many different backgrounds and nationalities, with a variety of skillsets. There is so much to learn, and there are so many opportunities to grow.

What's the best thing about your team?
Everyone in my local and wider P&C team as well as the Singapore local team are so friendly and ready to help and support.

Reflect on what you like most about working at Aurora.
The work is challenging and fun. As I am one of the only TA specialists for the region and we have a small team in APAC, there is a lot to do! We are a rapidly growing company, and with that comes a lot of exciting work—attracting the best talent, streamlining recruitment processes, and working on providing our candidates the best experience. This makes my role super exciting.

If you could capture the essence of Aurora in a word, what would it be?
Impactful—I believe Aurora is making a great impact in the energy transition and therefore on climate change.
