Transformation
The Transformation team is aimed at helping Aurora develop better, more efficient practices and processes as the company scales upward. The small but expanding team works together on projects like managing our new market entries and reporting the company’s Net Zero carbon emission metrics.
As highly organised big-picture thinkers, their goal is to make a difference in the organisational development of Aurora. The team is built for people who like variety in their work, are logical and curious in their methods, and are good at building strong relationships. With us, you’ll gain valuable experience with stakeholder management, business analysis, process design and development, and leadership.
Mansoor Baig
Project Manager, Oxford
Describe your key responsibilities.
As a project manager, I am currently mainly focused on new market entry projects. My key responsibilities are to lead teams in opening offices in sites globally. I work with these teams to ensure that the various project streams are working to a schedule to ensure that these offices are opened in a timely manner. To facilitate this, we meet on a regular basis to discuss progress, highlight any issues and risks, and work together to resolve these issues.
What is the highlight of your role?
I really enjoy leading teams that comprise different areas in the business such as Legal, P&C, Finance, ERP, IT, and BIO to bring a project to fruition. Each function has its own unique challenges, and it’s great to bring everyone together to realise a common goal.
What is the best thing about your team?
The fact that they are made up of super talented people who work incredibly hard to deliver on the high expectations from the business. The teams that I have worked with have often gone above and beyond to do their best to ensure a project stays on track.
Reflect on what you like most about working at Aurora.
Aside from the above, I would say the fact that we are very much a global company with so many different sites spread over so much of the globe is definitely a highlight. I have had the opportunity to work with so many of these sites that have their own unique challenges.
If you could capture the essence of Aurora in a word, what would it be?
Driven—the individuals that I have worked with have all been driven in working to deliver on whatever expectations that have been placed on them.
